Company President, Jerry Cook, founded Jerico Construction, Inc. in 1957 in response to a growing demand for agricultural and pre-engineered steel buildings. The industry was in its infancy then, and since the early 1960s Jerico Construction, Inc. has been a specialist in pre-engineered metal buildings. Starting with just 5 employees, Jerico has expanded its staff of in-house and field professionals to over thirty.

The Company was incorporated in 1977 and began its association with Butler Manufacturing, the world’s premier manufacturer of pre-engineered steel buildings, in 1980. Mason Michigan has been home to Jerico Construction, Inc. for the past 47 years. Today, we are proud to continue serving Lansing, Michigan and surrounding areas. Our project completion rate averages 93 jobs per year ranging in size from 10,000 to 125,000 square feet.
